Children and young people under the age of 18 are encouraged to get involved with the CEDS annual pantomime. They are fully involved in rehearsals as both cast and crew and many of our young members have gone on to take parts in bigger productions, including at Colchester’s Mercury Theatre and on to Drama School.
Parents are expected to attend rehearsals with their child.
Annual CEDS membership for an Under 18 is £1.
We have a robust Safeguarding Policy, which all members are aware of. Performances including children in the cast have an official chaperone and separate backstage area.
